Watercolours 2

I began painting in watercolours in 1980 when I attended a watercolour workshop in our little town of Elkford, British Columbia. Our first lesson was to make a wash. I remember leaving a white space between the sky and the mountains afraid that one would bleed into the other. During the same class we painted a still life iris sitting in a vase. This watercolour painting is still hanging in my sister, Diane’s home.
